Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, Nevada

On our way home we stopped at a few more camping places (for future trips) and this one caught our eye. This whole valley is fed by springs. So it's literally an oaisis in the middle of the desert.

It was nice to hear the cottonwoods whispering again. I miss that.

According to the info:
Welcome to Pahranagat
"Valley of Shining Waters"
(Pronounced Pa Ran a gat)
Provides critical habitat for migratory birds along the Pacific Flyway. It is one of more than 540 National Wildlife Refuges set aside to conserve fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American People.
Littlebear and Daddy at the lake...we startled a deer.

We left the city to escape the heat....and return to this temp!!

And that was our trip...any questions? I know I went kinda fast through them.
Love, Ang
