Chain Mail- Rainbow Stone Anklet

I've always loved chain mail jewelry, but could never afford it. I'm happy with this anklet as a first piece. I have a bunch of orphan beads that I could use up in this type of jewelry.

Here's a close up of the bead segment.

These beads aren't stone. Here's the info from Fire Mountain Gems:

Bead, rainbow stone (manmade), 4mm round. Sold per 16-inch strand.A myriad of color, all in one bead! This manmade material is rightfully called rainbow "stone." It's made of multi-colored laminated lacquer, with swirls and layers of blues, golds, yellows, reds and greens. Lightweight beads are lovely strung alone, with sterling silver or opaque accents like red coral, golden jade or turquoise. Lively coloring in well-cut and polished lightweight styles.
