Littlebear and I went out to eat at Denny's one evening and I started knitting this scarf at the table. Our server came over and gushed about knitting and scarves and how he loves them since he's from the "Midwest" (Chicago.)
And boy can I fall for flattery. He asked me who this scarf was for and I told him that since it was dicounted at Michael's, I was going to knit it up and give it to one of the kids in LB's class. (they're always asking me for hats/scarves.) Then my gut told me to offer it to him. He was so excited. And I think that feeling is worth more to me than the joy of knitting.
LOL so many cold necks and heads.....so little time.
