Papa took us out to a new place today. Since it's 113 here in vegas, I wanted to be onsite at 5am. He "persuaded" me that 7am would be just fine. So I grabbed my neckcooler and went along. It wasn't too bad. I had my coverup shirt (Like LB's in the picture) over a tank top and that neck cooler. The 85 degree heat wasn't too bad.
My camera had its autoflash on so all of my pictures are washed out. Then, after I turned it off, LB stopped looking at the camera.
(LB is not driving, we're on break)
I like this spot. Down on the canyon floor it's blazing hot, but up the mountain it gets cool quickly. There was even basic camping and running water (spring water) up here. I'd love to go camping up here.
We had "that talk" again about graduating me from my gutless machine. I got to a point on the mountain that I was just spinning my wheels. The bike wouldn't move. There was plenty of trail, but not enough power. Gosh the thought of gears on a trail scares me.
Anyway, I'm tired and ready for a dip in my "refreshing" 90 degree pool. I'll see you later, gators.
